Visages of the Self

I whipped up this white&black artwork 'cause I wanted to dive deep into what makes us tick as people, ya know? It's like a bunch of faces all tangled up together, each one showin' off a little piece of what's goin' on inside our heads. I used lines and some soft shading to make all those thoughts and secret whispers kinda jump out at you, makin' folks stop and think about all the different sides of themselves they got packed in there. My goal was to put out there that we're all walking, talking mixtapes of feelings and thoughts - our own identities are layered and always changing. The faces crisscrossin' and sorta fading into each other, that's about how our traits and quirks come together to make us who we are. I want folks to really get into the nooks and crannies of it, to wander through the shadows and curves, and really see what's hiding behind each set of peepers. This whole crowd of faces, it's like an invitation to poke around in your own noggin - who are you when you peel off the day-to-day costume? This whole thing's a slice of my own trip to figure out the bits and pieces that stitch together who I am.
